A few weeks ago I call with a very unusual cake requests: for my mom's 88th birthday, I wanted a slightly scaled-down version of a cake made to look like the Mayan pyramid at Chichen Itza, Mexico. It's one of my mom's favorite places that she went with my dad when he was still alive. My cousin, Kevin Gilbert, suggested this place to me. I called them, we talked on the phone a few times, and I emailed them many pictures Kama I had seen some similar cakes on Google. Well, they nailed it! It was absolutely perfect! I even asked them to put a little room at the top that look like the room containing the Jaguar Throne my mother had told me about and they did it! It was Austin gray, at my request, to look like Stone. They did all four sides with steps going up each side just like the actual archaeological site. I was absolutely thrilled and plan to call them tomorrow and tell them so. Couldn't have been happier with it, they made her birthday absolutely memorable! By the way, the chocolate cake and the grey icing were absolutely delicious, too.
