This talent is evident in our wedding cakes from elegant scrollwork on traditional cakes to the whimsical not so evident precision of a colorful topsy-turvy cake. 3. Specialization: Caramanda's is all about cakes. We made a commitment early on that whatever we do at our bakery we would be the best at it. Baking and decorating is still more art than science and we feel that we have the best cakes in Lexington because we focus on that. If you are on a budget your caterer can probably make you a wedding cake much cheaper than us but is the caterer going to be able to give the centerpiece of your reception the attention it deserves while peeling carrots and potatoes?

Call us at 859-278-7172 to arrange a consultation. We like our cakes to reflect the personality and style of the couple we make it for. This process is helped immensly if you can bring some or all of the following to the consultation:

1. Your invitation or samples of your wedding colors

2. Cloth swatches matching your wedding dress and lace.

3. Pictures of cakes you like obtained from the internet or possibly other weddings you have attended.

We ask for as much notice as possible when ordering your wedding cake. We recommend ordering at least six months in advance especially if your wedding is between May and September.
