Thank you Lexington! Our second store opened in Lexington on the 1st of July. We were very glad to see people waiting for the doors to open Wednesday. If you haven't been in yet we would like to invite you to stop by and check out the new store. We have David and Melissa Harris to thank for the decorating and cabinetry. They did a great job of moving us up a few notches on the "trendy" scale. The new bakery is located at 3805 Dylan Place (Boston Rd next to Starbucks) and the number there is 859-223-9755. We are very excited to be able to open a second bakery in Lexington. We owe a big thank you to all of our loyal customers for making our Caramanda's a success and most especially we want to thank the Southland Drive community for giving us such a great start. New Product We have had a busy month in June but somehow managed to work on a few new recipes. If you are looking for something different you should try our "Gooey Butter Bars", they have a rich buttery taste that is hard to describe by anything less than "mmmmm mmmm good". We know we have a hit with these because they sell out every day. Welcome to Caramanda's! Are you looking for an "out-of-this-world" cake for your party? Caramanda's is an "out-of-this-world" bakery. Our sculpted cakes are sure to make a dramatic impression. Wait! Just need a "regular" cake? We can do that too. Take a look at our testomonials page and you will find that we are not the only ones who consider our cakes to be the best tasting in Lexington. Stop by and try our cupcakes. They are made with same recipe as our cakes and make a nice preview. You will find that our cupcakes are not just ordinary run-of-the-mill. We are never satisfied with the ordinary. Come in our shop and you will see what we mean. NEW FLAVORS! After much experimenting in our lab... err kitchen, we are proud to announce the addition of two new flavors, Key Lime and Pink Champagne. Do you enjoy Key Lime pie? Our Key Lime cake is a great summer flavor. This refreshingly cool flavor is perfect for a hot summer day. But as always a taste is worth a 1000 words and, like most of our flavors, we have this one available as a cupcake. The word that comes to mind when you taste the Pink Champagne cake is "bubbly". Of course, it wouldn't be Champagne if it was anything else. This one is a great choice when you want to offer something "a little different" at your next party. Give it a try and I think you will agree another word to describe this cake is "YUM!"
